Driveway Cleaning Nassau County NY — Pressure Washing Experts
Nassau County driveways take a beating year-round. Concrete, pavers, asphalt, and brick each pick up oil stains, tire marks, algae, and seasonal moss differently — and each needs a different cleaning approach. We run a 20-inch commercial surface cleaner at 3,000 PSI on concrete and asphalt. Paver driveways get 2,000 PSI so we don't blast the joint sand, followed by polymeric re-sand to stabilize the edges and keep weeds out. Brick gets a lower-pressure pass with a citric pre-treat to lift years of haze without cracking the mortar.
Oil stain removal is one of our most-requested calls in Nassau. Fresh oil (under 6 months) comes out 95% clean with a targeted degreaser before the surface cleaner pass. Older oil soaked into unsealed concrete lightens significantly — we tell you honestly before we start if something looks permanent.

House Washing Nassau County — Soft Wash & Pressure Wash
House washing on Long Island is not the same as pressure washing. Siding — whether vinyl, cedar shake, HardiePlank, or stucco — needs soft wash: low pressure (under 500 PSI) with a chlorinated solution that kills algae and mildew at the root and rinses clean without forcing water behind the panels. High-pressure washing on siding pushes water into lock points, warps older vinyl, and removes the surface coating on painted cedar over time.
Nassau County's coastal climate speeds things up. Salt air from the Atlantic and Long Island Sound deposits a white oxidation film on south- and west-facing vinyl that doesn't lift with a standard rinse — it needs a surfactant dwell. Shaded north elevations in Nassau's heavily wooded villages grow gloeocapsa magma (those black streaks) on a 12–18 month cycle. We adjust our mix and dwell time for each elevation rather than running the same formula all the way around.
